In his first few days in office, President Joe Biden signed off on federal mask mandates. Yet actual implementation and regulation of mask mandates still largely remains up to state and local officials.
Many governors have had to close down sectors that they had reopened after previous lockdown orders. On the other side of the equation, several state authorities have resisted closures in an effort to help the U.S.'s ailing economy. The resulting patchwork of rules for state residents and businesses can be difficult to keep up with and confusing to understand.
If you're unsure about current mask regulations for your state, don't worry — Dotted Line Manufacturing is here to help! Here are the coronavirus mask mandates and restrictions for every state as of February 21st, 2021.
Please note that several states offer exceptions to certain rules, such as allowing bars to open and operate if they serve food. Virtually every state is imposing social distancing requirements for establishments that are allowed to open. Local conditions may not always reflect requirements set forth by states.
